A great place to explore all year round with some nice hiking trails looping around the cape.Check out the wildflower display in late winter through summer and from July to November there is a chance of spotting the migrating whales. For more information search for The Life of Py on Google
A great place to view the Indian Ocean over rugged rocky terrain. Have fun climbing over the rocks to watch the waves. The water can be quite rough here depending on the weather. Its beautiful and unique, reminding one of Scotland. There are wineries and chocolate tastings nearby within driving distance. Well worth a stop as your main destination.
Beautiful area with different trails to hike around. The "Wale Lookout" path will allow you to observe many wales and dolphins after half an hour walk, just be patient and pay attention to detail :)
Came around the region to look at the migrating whales on the coast. From the Lighthouse we went to Eagle Bay and then down the road to Point Piquet. Meelup beach was the next stop then to Castle Rock beach and back onto the highway. We managed to find some whale at Castle Rock beach.Nice scenic drive along the coast. Definitely a good place for lots of pit stops to enjoy the views.
Great walks and views over the Indian Ocean :-)Expect at least an hour round trip from car park near lighthouse to ocean views and back
