Top notch bakery with a great selection of award winning pies and pastries. The size of the pastries are absolutely huge! Just try one of the croissants or danish pastries. Mine was a little dry though and could have done with more filling. The highlight of eating here would have to be the jam donuts however. Simply delicious, chewy dough with ample jam filling. So good!
Many have commented about the rivalry between the two bakery's in this town. Trying them back to back I found the tastes to be pretty similar. The selection at this place was less than Taz's but the seating is more inviting here. Lots more drink selections here, while Taz's seemed more extensive menu for other savory and sweet options. Overall, you can't go wrong between the two, but I liked this place more due to seating and atmosphere.
So good!! I have been coming here for years and its a must do in the South West. The food is always fresh and tasty, staff are friendly and its well priced. The jam and cream donuts are to die for, worth every calorie!
Family Business, good old ozzie guy behind the counter, employing locals, selling excellent bread, Pastries and coffees. and on top of all that, really friendly service. good job guys.
